Mid-America Fun Scale Classic
Middle Point R/C Flyers hosts an annual Fun Scale Contest, AMA Event Number 520. Two divisions are offered, one for new-comers to scale competition and another for those who have previously competed in a scale contest. A Fun Scale event is primarily a flying event. Contestants are judged while performing 5 mandatory maneuvers plus 5 additional maneuvers to be selected by the contestant. A 5 point bonus is given if the contestant can provide documentation that shows his model has the same colors and markings as a full sized aircraft. Fun Scale is an entry level event and the Mid America Fun Scale Classic is a great way to start. Check out the rules in the following link and come join us.
